PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

​ 1. Data Controller In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed by Elçin Erkul - Vira Works (the “Company” or “Vira Works”), acting in the capacity of data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data Your personal data collected through our website (www.vira.works)—such as communication data including your name-surname, email address, phone number, company/title information, and message content, as well as transaction security data obtained via cookies—are processed for the following purposes:

  • Carrying out proposal and quotation processes regarding the custom uniform design and manufacturing services we offer,

  • Evaluating customer requests, inquiries, and suggestions, and contacting you accordingly,

  • Managing contract processes, product delivery, and after-sales support services,

  • Determining and implementing commercial and business strategies,

  • Enhancing the performance of our website, improving user experience, and managing information security processes.

3. To Whom and For What Purposes the Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred In line with the realization of the purposes mentioned above and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your collected personal data may be transferred to:

  • Cargo and shipping companies in order to execute product delivery and logistics processes,

  • Authorized public institutions and organizations (tax offices, judicial authorities, etc.) to fulfill our legal obligations,

  • Our business partners and service providers (hosting, software, and web infrastructure providers) to ensure the technical infrastructure and information security of the website.

4. Method and Legal Grounds for Personal Data Collection Your personal data is collected fully or partially by automated means through the forms filled out on our website such as "Contact", "Get a Quote", or similar forms, when you contact us via email or telephone channels, and through cookies used during your website visit. Your personal data in question is processed based on the following legal grounds specified in Article 5 of the KVKK:

  • Provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, it is necessary to process the personal data of the parties to the contract (e.g., uniform ordering, design, and delivery processes),

  • It is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill their legal obligation,

  • Data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (e.g., ensuring website security, increasing service quality).

5. Rights of the Data Subject Enumerated in Article 11 of the KVKK As a personal data subject, you have the following rights pursuant to Article 11 of the Law:

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed,

  • To request information if your personal data has been processed,

  • To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

  • To request the rectification of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,

  • To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data in the event that the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant laws,

  • To request that the rectification, erasure, or destruction processes carried out be notified to the third parties to whom your data has been transferred,

  • To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

  • To request compensation for the damage in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

6. Application and Contact You may submit your requests regarding your rights listed above in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. You can send your request in writing (a signed original copy via courier/mail) to our address in Kadıköy, Istanbul, or via email to info@vira.works by using a secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the email address currently registered in our system.
